Pituitary:
1. Be able to distinguish the Pars Distalis, Pars Intermedia, and the Pars Nervosa.
2. Within the Pars Distalis, be able to distinguish the Acidophils, Basophils, and the Chromophobes.

Thyroid gland: Be able to identify: Follicles, Colloid, Follicular cells, and Parafollicular cells.

Parathyroid gland: Be able to identify Chief cells and Oxyphil cells.

Suprarenal gland: Be able to identify the Cortex and Medulla. Within the cortex, be able to identify the Zona Glomerulosa, Zona Fasciculata, and the Zona Reticularis.

Islets of Langerhans: be able to identify an Islet of Langerhans within the pancreas. Identification of individual cell types is not possible with the stain used for these sections.
